The Miami Dolphins host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first home preseason game of the year at Sun Life Stadium. Important times to remember for this evening’s game:
Parking and Tailgating Lots open at 3:30 pm.
Stadium Gates open at 5:30 pm.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
Also please remember that the new NFL Bag Policy will be in effect for this evening’s game, as well as all games this season. Please see below for examples of bags that will be accepted into the stadium.
In ten days, South Florida football powerhouses St. Thomas Aquinas and Miami Northwestern will kick off the 2013 high school football season at Sun Life Stadium as a part of the Miami Dolphins High School Series. This historic matchup will be the first meeting between the two schools.
The Raiders come into the 2013 season as the defending Class 7A State Champions, finishing the 2012 season with a 13-2 record. The USA Today Super 25 has St. Thomas Aquinas ranked 11th in the nation in their preseason poll, while RivalsHigh 100 has the Raiders ranked 9th.
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The National Football League’s new bag policy will be in effect for all seven 2013 Miami Hurricanes home games at Sun Life Stadium.
The new bag policy, which was established with fan safety and expedited entry in mind, places limits on the size and type of bags which may be brought into Sun Life Stadium. Fans may continue to carry pockets items such as keys, makeup, combs, phones, wallets and credit cards. As part of this initiative, each season-ticket account will receive one (1) approved bag which they may use at their convenience.
Life In Color, “The World’s Largest Paint Party” returns to South Florida on December 27th bigger than ever with its inaugural Festival at Sun Life Stadium! The event will be the largest show in the history of Life in Color.
Announced following a live performance by DJ R3HAB during the pregame show of the International Champions Cup Finals, the festival will feature multiple stages, and the world’s top DJs.
Life in Color, formerly known as DAYGLOW, started in 2006 on college campuses in Florida and has since grown into an international phenomenon combining high-energy music, art, dance and paint.

The NFL policy starts in Miami with Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Sun Life Stadium and continues throughout the season.
Last night in front of a packed house, Justin Timberlake and Jay Z proved that they truly are the Legends of the Summer, concluding the summer’s biggest tour at Sun Life Stadium.
The 14-show, 12-city stadium tour sold out venues across the nation, entertaining crowds in every city visited.
Performing on a stage that lit up the stadium, Timberlake and Jay Z performed for more than two hours in front of a loud and energetic crowd. The set list featured hits from Timberlake’s and Jay Z’s new albums; the 20/20 Experience and Magana Carta…Holy Grail, as well as tried and true songs from their past.
This Friday, Sun Life Stadium will play host to this summer’s biggest concert as the Legends of the Summer tour, featuring Justin Timberlake and Jay Z, makes its way to South Florida. In anticipation of this show, we take a look back at the other acts that have visited Sun Life Stadium.
Rod Stewart, Hall and Oats and Chicago
The first concert to be held at the stadium featured the trio of Rod Stewart, Hall and Oats, and Chicago in an event titled “Happy Birthday America ’88,” on July 3, 1988.
