Miami, FL – The Miami Dolphins and Tri-Rail have announced a partnership that will provide free shuttle service from the Golden Glades Tri-Rail Station to Sun Life Stadium for all Dolphins home games this season. The service provides event-goers with a safe, efficient and cost-effective way to beat the traffic while supporting the Dolphins. This first time partnership was made possible due to the recent enhancement of Tri-Rail’s Weekend schedule with the addition of hourly train service.
Free shuttle service will start approximately three hours before the start of each game to give fans time to arrive for tailgating.
Centerplate continues to provide extraordinary culinary experiences at Sun Life Stadium, catering to a variety taste to satisfy everyone’s hunger on game days. In anticipation of the 2013 Miami Dolphins home opener, we take a look at some of the new items that will be available to fans this season.
New Grilled Chicken Sandwich
The new grilled chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread is topped with provolone cheese and roasted red peppers, served with a side of fries

New Premium Burger
The new premium grass-fed six ounce burger is served on a toasted-buttered potato roll and is topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, served with a side of curly fries.
MIAMI – Fresh off the team’s exciting 2-0 start on the road, the Miami Dolphins have announced a series of enhancements designed to improve the game day experience starting on Sunday, September 22 vs. the Atlanta Falcons.
The organization has made a significant commitment to upgrade technology within Sun Life Stadium, including improved Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the stadium and the parking lots through a partnership with AT&T. The new Wi-Fi connectivity will allow live, real time sharing and posting of fans’ game day photographs on the stadium video boards.
Reay’s participation is as ambassador of his Racing for Cancer initiative
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (September 17, 2013) – On the heels of last week’s announcement that the Dolphins Cycling Challenge (DCC) ridership is on pace to reach goal of 2,500 riders, IndyCar driver Ryan Hunter-Reay announced he will ride in this year’s DCC on Team AutoNation. Hunter-Reay, who lost his mother to colon cancer in 2010, is committed to helping in the global fight against cancer. AutoNation, a presenting sponsor of Reay’s Racing for Cancer organization, and a cornerstone partner of the DCC, is committed to cancer awareness as a key element to their company-wide wellness initiative.
The Miami Dolphins and Melanoma Exposed will be offering free skin cancer screenings prior to the start of Miami Dolphins vs. Atlanta Falcons game on Sunday, September 22nd at the Joe Robbie Alumni Plaza from 12:00 – 4:00 pm.
The first 100 fans to get screened will receive tickets to the Miami Dolphins home game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, November 24th.

The inaugural Florida Soccer Expo makes its debut at Sun Life Stadium this weekend. It will bring together all members of the soccer community, including fans, coaches, referees, exhibitors, soccer youth clubs and their families, highlighting the game of soccer through a trade show, indoor soccer tournament, coaching clinics and interactive soccer areas.
The event runs on both Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Soccer fans of all ages will have the opportunity to interact with over 60 exhibitors featuring new interactive games, state of the art soccer gear and giveaways.
Dolphins Cycling Challenge hits 1000 riders two months out from DCC weekend
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (September 12, 2013) – The Dolphins Cycling Challenge announced today that registered riders for DCC IV has passed the 1,000 mark, doubling the number of riders from this day last year. Ridership is on pace to reach the goal of 2,500 riders by DCC weekend – November 2nd and 3rd. Doubling riders means more money raised for cancer research at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, which to date has raised almost $4,000,000 in its first three years of existence.
