On Saturday, Brazil makes their first appearance in Miami in over ten years as they take on fellow 2014 World Cup qualifier Honduras at Sun Life Stadium. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.
Brazil, who automatically qualified for the 2014 World Cup because they are the host, comes into Saturday’s match having won four of their previous five matches.
The Brazil roster includes international stars such as Neymar, David Luiz, Dani Alves, Marcelo, Hulk and Robinho and features a total of 14 players from the team that won the 2014 FIFA Confederations Cup in June.
Tickets to the 9th Annual Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival hosted by DL Hughley are now on sale. Jazz in the Gardens will be held on March 15th and 16th at Sun Life Stadium.
The 2014 festival will feature live musical performances by Rachelle Ferrell, Trey Songz, Kelly Rowland, Boney James, and Mint Condition.
Over 63,000 guests attended Jazz in the Gardens last spring, which featured performances by Grammy award-winning artists such as Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Neyo, Earth Wind & Fire, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Fantasia, Monica, Mary Mary, Najee, and Nicole Henry.
Food Trucks return to Sun Life Stadium on Sunday, November 17th for the Miami Dolphins vs. San Diego Chargers game! This week, five of South Florida’s top trucks will be featured and available to all fans in the parking lot outside of Gate E. The trucks will begin serving food at 12:00 pm when the parking gates open until 4:00pm, as well as the two hours following the game.
Featured trucks at this Sunday’s game include; Cheeseburger Baby, Box of Chacos and Food Junkies, Crazydilla and the Slow Food Truck.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the University of Miami’s November 23rd game against the University of Virginia will kickoff at noon at Sun Life Stadium.
The 23rd ranked Miami Hurricanes travel to Durham, North Carolina this week to take on ACC Coastal Division opponent Duke. Both teams have a record of 7-2 on the season.
Virginia, who is currently 2-8 on the season, does not have another game before traveling to South Florida to take on the Hurricanes on November 23rd.
