Traffic Notice

“SFPC” Parade May Impact Traffic
For Miami Dolphins Game on Sunday, December 10th

WHO: The South Florida Presidents Council’s (SFPC) “Christmas Toys in the Sun Run” Parade taking place Sunday, December 10, may impact inbound traffic to Dolphin Stadium.  Approximately 25,000 motorcycles will travel 26 miles in length from the Pompano Harness Track to Markham Park Sunday morning, closing portions of I-95 and I-595.

WHERE: The parade begins at Pompano Harness Track, located on Powerline Rd. between Atlantic Blvd. and Cypress Creek Rd.  The parade starts lining-up at the racetrack at 7 am.  The motorcycles will begin pulling-out at 9:45 am.  The parade will proceed to Atlantic Blvd. and then east to I-95 South to I-595 West.  It exits at 136th & SR84 - proceed to park.  Please be advised that traffic will be diverted on these roads while the parade is in progress.
 
WHAT:  Roads that will be closed from 9:30 am to approximately 1:30pm

  • Southbound I-95 from Atlantic Boulevard to I-595 (approximately 10.5 miles)
  • Westbound I-595 from I-95 to 136th Street and State Road 84 (approximately 12.8 miles)

Guests and Dol-Fans traveling southbound to Sunday’s game should use the Florida Turnpike and exit for the Stadium at Exit 47 or Exit 2X.
