MIAMI DOLPHINS UNVEIL "THE 400" FAN EXPERIENCE
Distinctive Game-Day Amenities Designed to Enhance Fan Experience
MIAMI - (June 20, 2006) - The Miami Dolphins today unveiled The 400, a new and unique game day experience program in the upper bowl of Dolphin Stadium created especially for the team’s new fans, as well as current season ticket holders. According to Dolphins Enterprises CEO Joe Bailey, patrons of The 400, who many consider to be the team’s most avid supporters, will enjoy distinctive new entertainment and merchandise offerings, upgraded food and beverage options, gifts, special promotions and more.
"We’re listening to our fans and adding elements they tell us will enhance their enjoyment of the games," Bailey says. "We’ve made big changes to deliver an even better fan experience through The 400 program."
Among the benefits of season ticket membership in The 400 are:
Improved Comfort
- Shaded and misted PolarZones in each corner of The 400 area where patrons can get cool towels, special visors and apparel, CoolKits and refreshments
- Theme-attired Polar Patrol teams who bring the "cool" experience directly to fans by offering spritzes of refreshing mist right at their seats
- The 400’s seats provide the closest views of pro sports’ largest HD video boards and the world’s largest wrap-around LED display surrounding the bowl
- Improved service speed, including credit card payment options
- Enhanced concierge services
Enhanced Entertainment
- Dedicated live music and entertainment throughout The 400 before, during and after the game
- Interaction with cheerleaders, alumni and members of the 400 Fins Force who circulate throughout the upper bowl during each game
- Pre-game party areas at each corner of the stadium for the exclusive use of The 400 members
- Availability of the NFL’s DirecTV Sunday Ticket where fans can keep abreast of the on-field action and in-progress NFL games
- Unique The 400 experience merchandise and apparel
More Fan-Friendly Environment - Enhanced concessions - including new value meals, promotions and giveaways, as well as an expanded team of stadium attendants assigned to the area
- An increased number of stadium staff to ensure all guests conduct themselves properly in this family-friendly environment.
"The 400’s sheer size and the unique character of its fans have given us an opportunity to be bold and audacious," says Bailey, "The 400 is designed to deliver a friendly, fun-filled, value-added experience for this special community."
And, to roll out the new concept in dramatic fashion, the Dolphins are taking delivery of that experience quite literally.
Imagine the reaction generated among fans who purchase four or more new season tickets in The 400 through June 30, when those tickets are hand-delivered by Miami Dolphins cheerleaders, alumni, members of the Fins Force or team officials at the new season ticket holders’ homes or offices.
The newly created 400 experience represents the first phase in a series of renovations that are currently underway at Dolphin Stadium, as evidenced by the soaring cranes and other construction equipment on site. The Miami Dolphins and Dolphin Stadium are making big changes that are designed to make the fans’ game day experience more unforgettable than ever before - from the moment they arrive until after the game ends. The enhancements will include easier parking, enlarged concourse areas, concession upgrades, new service and merchandise options and expanded restroom availability.
With its new amenities and fan-friendly focus, Bailey is confident The 400 will emerge as one of the most popular stadium destinations for Dol-Fans.
"You will feel part of something larger than yourself," he says. "It will be such a great experience that fans who want to guarantee their seats beyond the upcoming season should consider buying season tickets now before the ’new’ Dolphin Stadium is sold out."
