MULTI-YEAR PREMIER PARTNERSHIP
MIAMI, FL (May 21, 2007) – Dolphins Enterprises CEO Joe Bailey today announced a renewed multi-year, comprehensive Premier Marketing Partnership with Anheuser-Busch, Inc.
Budweiser and Bud Light will be the exclusive malt beverage sponsors of Dolphin Stadium and the Miami Dolphins and receive special benefits, including advertising signage and promotional rights. The flagship component of this partnership will be a themed fan destination, which will consist of an area that will host pre-game, in-game and post-game events. In addition to the themed area, Budweiser and Bud Light will also be the presenting sponsor of the Miami Dolphins’ Cheerleaders and Dolphins’ Hispanic initiatives, including the Hispanic Heritage Game.
“As a South Florida market leader, Anheuser-Busch brings strong brands and market presence to the Miami Dolphins and Dolphin Stadium,” said Joe Bailey, CEO of Dolphins Enterprises. “Our renewed and expanded partnership with Anheuser-Busch is multi-faceted. They will play a pivotal role in helping us create fan destination areas within our venue as well as partnering with us on our Hispanic outreach programs.”
“We’re honored to continue supporting the Miami Dolphins, their great fans and their valuable community initiatives as they enter an exciting new era,” said Tony Ponturo, vice president of Global Media and Sports Marketing, Anheuser-Busch, Inc. “Anheuser-Busch has been a partner of the Dolphins for more than 20 years and we’re proud to continue our significant commitment to the success of the Dolphins organization for many years to come.”
Premier Marketing Partners are defined by category exclusivity and have access to Miami Dolphins’ and Dolphin Stadium’s most exclusive benefits, reserved primarily for premier partners. In the coming years, premier marketing partners will be integrated into the fan experience at the newly transformed Dolphin Stadium through thematics, immersive branding and technology solutions.
Budweiser and Bud Light are an official beer of 28 NFL teams and have made a long-term commitment to the sport’s national broadcasts. Budweiser and Bud Light will continue to enjoy a significant presence on NFL broadcasts on CBS, NBC, ESPN and FOX during the 2007-2008 season, and, most notably, will maintain its exclusive advertising presence on Super Bowl broadcasts through 2012.
