Chris Overholt Named Vice President of
Marketing Partnerships
And New Media for Dolphins Enterprises
MIAMI - Joe Bailey, CEO of Dolphins Enterprises, LLC announced today the appointment of Chris Overholt as Vice President, Marketing Partnerships and New Media for Dolphins Enterprises.
Overholt will be responsible for enhancing the efforts of corporate sponsor sales, service and strategic partnership planning for both the Miami Dolphins and Dolphins Stadium. In addition, he will lead all new media sales initiatives and work closely with existing and new partners to market various new media properties.
Previously to joining Dolphins Enterprises, Overholt was the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Florida Panthers and the Bank Atlantic Center. Overholt's responsibilities included all aspects of ticket sales, corporate sponsor and broadcast revenue, marketing, media relations, community development and event presentation. In addition, Overholt served as the senior executive in charge of operations for Incredible Ice, a multi-purpose twin rinks facility in Coral Springs.
Earlier, Overholt was the Vice President, Sales & Service of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd., overseeing marketing and ticket sales planning and execution of Canada's two top professional sports enterprises, the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and the NBA's Toronto Raptors. Overholt joined MLSEL from the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club, where he had served as the Director, Corporate Marketing. Overholt began his career with London Life Insurance Company in sales and Digital Equipment Corporation in new business development.
Overholt graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in 1987, and completed the Harvard Business School Executive General Managers Program in 2001. He and his wife, Nikki, reside in Parkland, Florida with their two boys, Kyle and Dylan.
