The main stage will feature a wide array of musical acts including Latin Grammy Award winning vallenato artist Jorge Celedon, the long running popular salsa group, Grupo Niche, and Fonseca, the Colombian singer and songwriter, who has won multiple Latin Grammy Awards.

In addition, there will also be performances on the main stage by Silvestre Dangond, Zacarias Ferreira and Plan B.

The Colombian Independence Festival will also feature the fifth annual Independance Music Festival, featuring a mix of Latin and electronic music. Held in a separate Electronic Dance tent, the Independance Music Festival will be headlined by internationally renowned DJ’s Erik Morillo and Robbie Rivera.

Inside Sun Life Stadium, a soccer match featuring Colombian Club team Millonarios FC and CD Olimpia of Honduras is set to start at 3:00pm.  Millonarios is the winner of 14 Colombian First Division titles, which is the most league history.  Similarly, Olimpia has achieved great success in Honduras, having won 26 league championships, including this past year.
