The No. 9 moment of 2013 came early in Miami Dolphins season, as Ryan Tannnehill capped off a 75 yard drive with a one yard touchdown pass to tight end Dions Sims with 38 seconds remaining to lead the Miami Dolphins past the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 27-23. The victory helped the Dolphins improve to 3-0 on the season.
A crowd of 70,660 ecstatic fans were on hand to witness the game winning drive, on which Tannehill completed nine of 12 passes for 69 yards, including go ahead the one yard touchdown to Sims.
Coming in at Number 10 in Sun Life Stadium’s Top 10 Moments of 2013 is the Dolphins Cycling Challenge.
DCC IV took to the streets of South Florida over November 2nd and 3rd, with more than 2,500 cyclists riding along six different routes to raise funds for the University of Miami Comprehensive Cancer Center. This year’s ride has already raised more than $3.1 million for the fight against cancer.
Just before dawn on November 2nd, riders departed Sun Life Stadium as the Miami Century and Miami 30 rides began.
The Miami Dolphins return to Sun Life Stadium to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Halloween Night for a special edition of Thursday Night Football. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:25 pm.

In ten days, South Florida football powerhouses St. Thomas Aquinas and Miami Northwestern will kick off the 2013 high school football season at Sun Life Stadium as a part of the Miami Dolphins High School Series. This historic matchup will be the first meeting between the two schools.
The Raiders come into the 2013 season as the defending Class 7A State Champions, finishing the 2012 season with a 13-2 record. The USA Today Super 25 has St. Thomas Aquinas ranked 11th in the nation in their preseason poll, while RivalsHigh 100 has the Raiders ranked 9th.
In a sure sign that spring is officially here, big storm clouds rolled in over Sun Life Stadium on Saturday, threatening the scheduled 3 p.m. start to the University of Miami Spring Game.
As kickoff approached, though, the overcast skies cleared, giving way to perfect conditions for some afternoon football.
For the first time since November, Hurricanes football was back at Sun Life Stadium, as the team wrapped up its spring schedule with the annual Orange-White game in front of a crowd of Canes-crazy fans.

Time continues to be of the essence for the Miami Dolphins in their plans to modernize Sun Life Stadium and improve their chances of landing the 50th Super Bowl, college championships, and international soccer, which makes today’s victory in the state legislature that much more important.
Dolphins CEO Mike Dee applauded the efforts of the House Finance and Tax Committee and their favorable 12-4 vote in support of a bill that would further advance the ability to modernize Sun Life Stadium.
